Karela United have launched investigations into the FA Cup violence after their 2-1 defeat to Medeama on Sunday.

The club's fans attacked their regional rivals as midfielder Eric Kwakwa was heavily beaten and soaked in blood.

Medeama's bus was also vandalised after the game at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park in Anyinase.

Following the unfortunate incident the GFA has banned Karela United from using the CAM Park for the rest of the season.

However, Karela United in a release on Monday morning have launched investigations into the violence that broke at the end of the match.

According to the club they will assist authorities in their investigations and have condemned the act by 'a group of persons' reported to be fans of the team.
