Karim Zito confirms Joseph Esso’s unavailability for Dreams FC clash against Hearts of Oak

Dreams FC coach Karim Zito has confirmed Joseph Esso will not be available for their game against Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League.

The Still Believe lads will play host to Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Stadium on Thursday in matchday 21 of the top-flight.

Esso made a sensational return to the Still Believe lads this week for a second stint after ending his spell in Algeria. He departed Dreams FC to join MC Alger in March 2021.

Ahead of the game against Hearts of oak, Zito says Esso is not ready to feature for the club and for that matter, he will not be involved in the clash.

“Truth be told; I’m very happy we’ve able to sign another experience player. Esso and John Antwi will enhance the squad”

“He trained with us on Tuesday, and after a careful assessment, I realize he is not ready to play against Hearts of Oak. His readiness fell below my expectations so I will not include him” he added.

Esso scored 11 goals on his first stint with Dreams FC in the 2020/2021 season.
