Kasim Mingle set to quit Bechem United for Nations FC - Reports

Veteran Ghanaian coach, Kasim Mingle is set to leave his role as head coach of Bechem United for Nations FC.

Mingle according to reports has informed the hierarchy of Bechem United he needs a new challenge but his request was rejected by the leadership of the club.

The Hunters came close to winning the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season but finished in the 3rd spot with 54 points.

Despite his request to leave the club being turned down, Kasim Mingle is expected not to return to the club as he hopes to wrap up a deal with Nations FC.

Nations FC is one of the three Division One League Clubs who have qualified for the Ghana Premier League next season.

The Blues had 69 points after 29 matches, having deduced from solid 21 wins, six draws and two defeats since the start of the season.

As part of measures to establish themselves in the topflight, Nations FC will be announcing Kasim Mingle as their new head coach for next season.

Meanwhile, Johnson Smith is expected to serve as the assistant coach.
