Red-hot Kevin-Prince Boateng scores for Las Palmas in successive games

Ghanaian international Kevin-Prince Boateng scored his second goal for Las Palmas in two games as they romped to a 5-1 thrashing of Granada in the Spanish La Liga on Sunday evening.

The Black Stars outcast opened his account in style last weekend, scoring the third goal in a 4-2 win at Valencia.

He was on hand once again to give Las Palmas a 2-1 lead in the 51st minute after Granada's Jeremie Boga had cancelled out Nabil El Zhar's 23rd minute opener.

His goal sparked a three goal scoring spree with El Zhar completing his brace and Momo Figueroa Cabrera and Sergio Araujo also scoring.

The win maintained Las Palmas 100% start to the season and left them joint top of the La Liga table with giants Real Madrid.

Kelvin was released by AC Milan after failing to impress in his second stint with the club.

Las Palmas travel to play Seville in their next league match on September 10 after the international break.
