Kelvin Yeboah will be fully fit after three or four weeks - FC Augsburg coach Enrico Maassen

Former Strum Grza attacker Kelvin Yeboah is on his way back after injuring his foot twice.

Nonetheless, the 22-year-old Ghanaian-born Italian will be missing from FC Augsburg for an indefinite period of time.

Head coach Enrico Maassen was specific about the new winter signing's downtime during a news briefing in advance of Saturday's game against VfL Wolfsburg.

Yeboah will need at least three to four weeks before he can be completely incorporated again, according to the trainer.

This means that the Fuggerstadt attacker will only become a viable option for the current twelfth-placed side in the season's closing stretch.

On 8 January 2022, Kelvin Yeboah signed with Italian side Genoa. After suffering relegation with the Grifone and playing the first half of the season at the 2022–23 Serie B level, Yeboah was loaned out to Bundesliga side FC Augsburg on 18 January 2023, with an option to buy.

He has made eight appearances and assisted one goal in the Bundesliga.
