Kevin Mensah provides assist in Brøndby IF's win against Lyngby

Danish-born Ghanaian defender Kevin Mensah provided an assist in Brøndby IF's 3-0 win against Lyngby in the 3F Superliga. 

Kevin Mensah started the game at the Brøndby Stadion and lasted the full 90 minutes.

The home side also got on the scoreboard first in the match after a little over half an hour of play, when the ball fell to Nicolai Vallys in the Lyngby BK area, he turned and scored. Nicolai Vallys' goal was assisted by Blás Riveros with a headed pass.

Ohi Omoijuanfo could have given the home team a bigger lead just before halftime when the Norwegian received a wonderful ball, ran through the Lyngby goalie, and got an end to the free goal from an acute angle, but it went into the side netting instead.

In the 49th minute, the second yellow card to Kolbeinn Finnsson of Lyngby BK was shown by referee Mads-Kristoffer Kristoffersen.

Mathias Kvistgaarden's header from the centre of the box to the bottom left corner made it 2-0. His goal was assisted by Kevin Mensah with a cross.

In the 90th minute, Nicolai Vallys scored his second goal to end the score at 3-0.

Brøndby will face Midtjylland in their next league game.
