Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has revealed he had a word with fellow national teammate Mubarak Wakaso before joining Las Palmas. Boateng sealed a year-deal with the Spanish side after passing a medical on Tuesday.
After his presentation to the fans he stated how happy he is to have joined them and revealed he spoke to Mubarak Wakaso who spent last season on loan at the Spanish side.
“Wakaso told me about the island and the team has been very helpful, " he said
"I am very grateful to the club and the president because they believed in me.
“Where the coach put me in my mind I 'll play the first game and I'll go with all the enthusiasm in the world.
He added that "It's a new adventure for me , I chose to Las Palmas because I felt loved ."
He becomes Las Palmas boss Quique Setien’s fourth signing ahead of the 2016/17 LaLiga campaign after Hélder Lopes, Mako Livaja and Michel Macedo.
