King Faisal appoints new head coach

Ghanaian club, King Faisal have appointed coach Charles Frimpong Anokye as their new head coach, information provided by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has revealed.

The club based in Kumasi has endured a difficult start to the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season and currently sits in the relegation zone of the league table.

Although interim head coach Andy Sinason has done well with the team, the management of King Faisal has agreed to bring in a substantive head coach.

According to a statement on the website of the GFA, the club has registered coach Charles Frimpong Anokye as their new head coach in accordance with the Club Licensing Regulations.

“King Faisal have appointed Charles Frimpong Anokye as Head Coach, Andy Sinason reverts to the assistant role,” part of the statement from the Ghana FA reads.

Occupying the 17th position on the Ghana Premier League table, the new coach has been tasked to help the team climb out of the relegation zone to safety.
