King Faisal are set to settle on Ohene Ameyaw Park as their new home venue subject to approval by the Club Licensing Board ahead of their upcoming matches in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.

Last week, the Sports Ministry announced temporary closure of the stadium to allow renovation works ahead of Ghana’s 63rd Independence Day anniversary celebration.

It is believe that the stadium will remain closed for further renovation works due to its deplorable state and is expected to ready in October.

However, the bank-roller of the club, Alhaji Grusah disclosed that his outfit will use the Assin Fosu Park as their new home ground but it was rejected by the Club Licensing Board who deemed the it unfit to host Premier League matches.

Hence, the club have decided to adopt Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman for the rest of their home games for the season.

The Insha Allah boys are yet to win a game in the Ghana Premier League this term, having accumulated just five points in 11 matches thus far.
