King Faisal players refuse to train over unpaid salaries ahead of tough Kotoko showdown

Players of King Faisal have refused to train due to unpaid salaries and bonuses as the team gears up for the crunch meeting with rivals Asante Kotoko.

The Kumasi-based club will this weekend take on neighbors Asante Kotoko in a Matchday 32 encounter of the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.

In what will be a tough match, both King Faisal and Asante Kotoko must record a win to avoid relegation and enhance chances of winning the league respectively.

Ahead of the crucial game, information gathered today has indicated that King Faisal may go into the match unprepared.

This is because players are refusing to train due to monies they are owed.

Reports gathered from Kumasi is that the playing body is aggrieved and have decided not to train until they are paid salaries and bonuses owed.
