King Faisal players will not accept pay cut - Osman Ibrahim

King Faisal players will not accept pay cut, according to striker Osman Ibrahim amid coronavirus pandemic in the country.

Reports in Kumasi suggests that the league strugglers are looking at player pay cuts at part measures to help ease the financial burden on the club due to the suspension of the league.

Osman believes that these players in the top flight receive peanuts as salaries and pay cut will be unfair to them as they also cater for their family.

“Our salaries at King Faisal aren’t enough, so how will the club’s management even think of pay cut? If they bring that idea up then they just want to worry the players,” Osman told Otec FM.

“How much do King Faisal pay us at the end of every month to even think of cutting down salaries? I’m not sure they will do that to us and I don’t believe the players will accept a pay cut if they propose it to us [despite Coronavirus disease affecting every businesses],” he added.

Osman Ibrahim is currently on loan from Asante Kotoko, and has been one of the standout players for King Faisal this term.
