Sporting Director of Ghana Premier League side King Faisal, Nana Amankwah Kwakye has parted ways with the club due to personal reasons.

The long-standing management member of the Kumasi based side has brought his ten years stint with the club to an end.

The club is expected to make an official announcement in the coming days.

According to reports in the local media, his decision to resign as the Sporting Director of the club comes following internal disagreements with the bankroller of the team, Alhaji Grunsah.

"It's true that Nana Amankwah has decided to leave the club [King Faisal]. He has not stated the reasons behind his decision," a close source told Kickgh.com

"He only said he wants to take a break from football."

King Faisal are currently at the bottom of the league table with only six points after 14 matches played in the suspended 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.
