King Faisal striker Osman Ibrahim wants the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League to be cancelled due to the current position of his club on the standings.

King Faisal are bottom of the league table with only six points after 14 matches played thus far and are yet to win a single game this season.

The league has been on hold since March following the outbreak of coronavirus and as a result, some clubs have called for the cancellation of the current season while others have proposed football should return when its safe to do so.

"The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a lot of problems but as King Faisal, we are much elated, it has helped and favoured us a lot. But for this disease, the position of King Faisal on the league log would have brought a lot of issues," said the striker.

"Personally, considering the position of King Faisal I want the league canceled. I am in a fine form but due to our inability to win matches my performance has been underrated."

Ibrahim joined King Faisal on loan from Asante Kotoko and has scored eight goals for them.
