King Faisal's new head coach, Ignatius Osei-Fosu, has described his side's goalless draw against Asante Kotoko as a difficult game.

The former Eleven Wonders and Medeama SC coach took charge of his first game in the Kumasi derby as the new boss of the In Sha Allah lads.

His appointment was confirmed shortly before the Ghana Premier League week 21 outstanding game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, but he still managed a decent draw against the defending champions.

Speaking after the game, Osei-Fosu said: "It was a difficult game, considering I had only one session with the team. We also went down to ten men, so we had to defend and not concede. We wanted to win, trust me, we wanted to win. But it's football."

The young coach is confident he can guide King Faisal, who are currently 10th on the league log with 32 points, to survive the drop.

"The reality is that I'm results-oriented. I saved Dreams FC, and I'm here to save King Faisal too."
