Kobby Jones brands Hearts of Oak management as incompetent

The National Chapters Committee(NCC) spokesperson of Hearts of Oak, Kobby Jones has branded the management of the club led by Managing Director Frederick Moore of being incompetent with regards to their handling of the transfer issue of Joseph Esso.

The club a few weeks ago announced that they are partying ways with the highly-rated forward as well as some other 4 players.

Following pressure from the supporters of the club and backlash in the media, the management of the club made a U-turn to re-sign Joseph Esso.

Unfortunately, the latest news coming in today has indicated that no deal has been reached with the management of Hearts of Oak asking for an apology from Joseph Esso before talks will continue.

Speaking to Fox FM, Kobby Jones has indicated that the management of the Phobian club has failed woefully in the negotiations with the forward.

“Personally Joseph Esso cannot be blamed for his exit from the club, neither can we blame the board chairman on this issue, rather we must blame the management.

“It was never the wish of the player to go for his release letter at our secretariat since there was an upcoming meeting between the player and management, he had a call from the MD to that effect", he said.

Kobby Jones believes that the club must appoint a sporting director to take charge of player transfer and negotiations.

“Hearts of Oak must get a sporting director to take care of player transfers for us and allow Frederick Moore to concentrate on the business aspect", the NCC Spokesperson noted.
