Ghana newbie, Kofi Kyere has released his infancy pictures in an interview he granted to the German press telling them he would play for the Black Stars.

The FC St. Pauli star was handed his maiden call-up to the Black Stars with a late invitation after Kelvin Yeboah declined to represent Ghana.

Kyere was brought on in the 29th minute following an injury to Crystal Palace winger Jeffery Schlupp in Ghana's 1-0 win over Ethiopia at the Cape Coast Stadium.

After finally achieving his dream, Kyere posted on his Instagram an interview he granted to the German media stressing that he would play for the Black Stars instead of Germany.

He was not part of the Black Stars squad who lost to South Africa in Johannesburg due to Covid-19 travelling restrictions.

The 25-year-old has been in outstanding form for St. Pauli since the beginning of the 2021/2022 season in the German second-tier.

Kyereh has netted one goal and provided 3 assists in 5 appearances in the German Bundesliga 2 this season.
