Head Coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Steve Pollack says his team took advantage of the slow nature of Dwarfs full backs to win 1-0 in Cape Coast.

Kotoko picked up their second straight win to slowly warmed themselves back in the hunt for the Ghana Premier League title. "Their fullbacks are not the quickest as against our wingers, we spoke about that during the week and the game plan we had worked to perfection".

Right back for Ebusua Dwarfs Isaac Kwain and Left back Dennis Korsah had a torrid time against the Kotoko wingers.

Kotoko put up a resolute display to get all 3 points after losing woefully last year to the Cape Coast Club.

Pollack added that his team were determined not to repeat their mistakes after being handed a 4-1 defeat last season.

Kotoko will now turn their attention to the President's Cup game against Hearts of Oak this Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
