Newly-appointed Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko Nana Yaw Amponsah is set to visit Ashanti Regional Chief Imam on August 21.

The former Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidential aspirant  was scheduled to visit the Ashanti Regional Chief Imam today at the Central Mosque to officially introduce himself to him and seek his blessings.

But according to OTEC FM, the event has been postponed to next week Friday August 21.

Nana Yaw Amponsah was named the club's new CEO last Friday at the Sports Hotel in Kumasi.

The top position at the Kumasi-based club has been vacant for the past couple of months.

Amponsah brings a wealth of experience to bear on the job following his rapid rise in football administration in the West African nation.

He contested for the GFA presidency but lost to Kurt Okraku.
