Asante Kotoko trainer Prosper Narteh Ogum has revealed the secret behind attacking duo of George Mfegue and Frank Mbella top form at the club.
The Cameroonian duo who joined the Porcupine Warriors before the start of the season have been exceptional.
The pair have racked up 10 goals in all competition for the two-time African Champions.
Frank Mbella has bagged 6 goals whereas compatriot George Mfegue has 4 goals after 15 into the Ghana Premier League.
Asked about the secret behind Mfegue and Mbella’s performance, the former WAFA coach said, “The secret is that, they are focused, obedient, humbler and hard working. Sometimes, when you even want to give them some days off for them to recover fully, they disagree, so sometimes I have to negotiate with them to let them understand why they have to rest”
“To them, they have come to Ghana to make it and make it big and that why they are here. So, I think their sense of humility, obedience and the spirit of hard work that is them is brining out the best in them” he said.
Asante Kotoko sits top of the league table with 33 points after 15 matches into the season.
