Asante Kotoko forward Steven Desse Mukwala has vowed to score more goals for the club after rediscovering his scoring form.

The Uganda international has shaking off his slow start to the season, scoring some important goals for the Porcupine Warriors in their last four games. Mukwala has four goals in their last four games.

He scored the only goal when Kotoko cruised to a 1-0 win over Berekum Chelsea at the Baba Yara Stadium on Monday.

“I feel so delighted. You know when Kotoko wins, then Kumasi is red so I feel so delighted to have scored then my team win. As strikers, it is our responsibility to create and score so if I create and score then is a plus for me and for my team as well”

“Basically, I hope to score more than I did last season” he added.

Mukwala is expected to play a huge role in the Super Clash against Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

Asante Kotoko are currently 7th on the Ghana Premier League with 19 points whiles Hearts of Oak sit 8th position with 16 points.
