Kotoko gives NCC permission to mobilize funds for player transfer and debts

The management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko have decided to allow the National Circles Council to mobilize funds to pay for the transfer of AshantiGold midfielder Latif Anabila.

They will also allow the NCC to mobilize funds to settle part of the $240,000 fine imposed on the club.

This is a clear contrast on their earlier stance by Nana Kwame Dankwah that Kotoko will not receive any help from the fans due to the coronavirus crisis.

Kotoko have been given a 17th May deadline to pay the debt and although Dr. Kwame Kyei will be making steps to clear it,  the NCC will be expected to do a fundraising event to offset the amount as well.
