The goalkeeper is one of three goalkeepers registered by the Porcupine Warriors for the 2019/2020 football season. Due to his anterior cruciate ligament tear injury, he did not see any action in the Ghana Premier League nor the MTN FA Cup before the season was suspended as a result of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) disease.

In a bid to solve his injury problem and get him back to full fitness, the club has paid for him to undergo surgery at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) today.

“Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Emmanuel Osei Kwame has undergone surgery at KATH to correct his Injury anterior cruciate ligament tear", a club statement on Twitter has said.
