Asante Kotoko midfielder Adom Frimpong has boastfully said that his team has the best trio in Ghana which includes himself, Justice Blay and Mudasiru.
Frimpong has been a key cog during Kotoko's impressive run in the campaign so far and he attributes it to the understanding he has with his team mates in midfield.
“Off the pitch we talk about ourselves, we talk to get the understanding,” he told the Kotoko media team.
Because when I came Mudasiru was already playing with Justice Blay but experience taught me to study how they play their game. Because if I should join them and play then I have to study how they play as well.”
“So when we talk about best trio midfielders in Ghana, it’s myself, Mudasiru and Justice Blay.”
“That is how I see it. Because against Hearts when the three of us started, we did well even though Muda (Mudasiru) went out. We understand ourselves. When Adom goes Muda (Mudasiru) stays. If Muda (Mudasiru) goes Blay stays.”
