Asante Kotoko head coach, Johnson Smith has prepared a move for William Opoku Mensah to his fold after the one-year loan deal with American outfit Sporting Kansas II.
Johnson smith will reunite with the striker who is set for a return to Karela fC on November 30, 2019 as the American second tier club failed to extend his contract.
The Porcupine Warriors had interest in the 23-year-old striker before moving to USA, they will be happy to have him as a replacement for Fatawu Safiu.
Mensah will be the fifth Karela player to join Kotoko if the deal falls through successfully, he had a fruitful season in the 2018 Ghana Premier League Table before its abrupt end.
