Asante Kotoko legend Malik Jabir has hailed the team’s fighting spirit in their stalemate against Heart of Lions in season opener.
Kotoko were held by the Kpando-based club in their opening game of the 2023-24 Ghana Premier League season at the Baba Yara Stadium last Sunday.
Despite identifying some short falls, Malik Jabir says he was pleased with the team’s fighting spirit when they shared the spoils with the Ghana Premier League returnees.
“But as at the first match, I coach Malik Jabir, I was impressed with their fighting spirit though the coach has a few things to correct.”
Asante Kotoko are away to Bibiani Goldstars in matchday 2 of the domestic top-flight on Saturday at the Duns Park.
