Kotoko midfielder Mudasiru Salifu suffer injury setback; Set to spend weeks on the sidelines

Asante Kotoko midfielder, Mudasiru Salifu has suffered an injury setback that could see him missing action for 2 months.

The skilled midfielder came to the light in the 2019/2020 football season where he dazzled in a few games for the Porcupine Warriors.

In that campaign, he got injured against Hearts of Oak before the season was later on suspended and canceled because of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Ahead of the start of the new football season, Mudasiru Salifu has sustained another injury setback.

According to checks made, the midfielder injured his metatarsal bone and has immediately been excluded from pre-season to receive the needed medical care.

Sources have indicated that with the extent of his injury, Mudasiru Salifu will be out of action for as many as 7 weeks.

He is joining Richard Senanu on the injury bed with the other midfielder also ruled out for months with an injury.
