The National Circles Council (NCC) of Asante Kotoko is set to hold a meeting with former coach Maxwell Konadu over the ongoing legal tussle with the club.
The experienced tactician saw his contract terminated by the Ghanaian giants in December 2020 on the back of struggles by the team to win matches.
Months on, it appears there is some bad blood between Asante Kotoko and Coach Maxwell Konadu.
While the coach has dragged the club before the Players and Coaches Status Committee to demand his unpaid entitlements, the club is also chasing the coach to return the car given to him when he was coach of the club.
As the impasse remains and develops by the day, the supporters' group of the club has planned to meet the coach and try to find a common ground for the club to amicably settle the issues.
According to Sasu Danquah of Kumasi-based Opemsuo FM, the supporters body feels it is unneeded and preposterous for the two parties to be engaged in such an unfriendly manner, hence the need to step in to rescue the situation.
