Kotoko skipper describes 1-1 draw with Hasaacas as true reflection of the game

Captain of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Amos Frimpong has described the 1-1 drawn game with Sekondi Hasaacas at the Essipong Stadium on Sunday as a true reflection of the game.

The Kotoko skipper earned a point for his side following his flawless spot kick to cancel Samuel Afful's lead and has since described the results a perfect score line for the crunchy game.

“Both teams had a good game and the 1-1 score line is a true reflection of the game.” Amos told the media.

"We were all determined to pick the three points but it ended up being a split. We both had a point each and I think that is good for an away match," he added.

The skipper has scored 8 goals this season and the 6th penalty he slotted in against Hasaacas.

With four matches to end the season, the Porcupine Warriors are 4th on the table with 41 points with four points between league leaders Wa All Stars.

Kotoko will host Berekum Chelsea in the Match Day 27 fixture of the Ghana Premier League.
