Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker Saddick Adams has dedicated his goal against Accra Hearts of Oak to the late equipment officer of the club, Mr. Obeng Asare.

Mr. Obeng Asare passed on after the club’s bus run into a stationery truck on their way from a premier league game against Inter Allies.

The accident saw several players badly injured with Coach Steve Pollack and Ollenu Ashitey undergoing surgeries after the unfortunate incident.

The Porcupine Warriors returned to the pitch in their first competitive game against arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak.

Saddick Adams scored from the spot to cancel out a Kwame Kizito early strike as the porcupine Warriors salvaged a point in a controversial manner.

The 26 year old striker celebrated the goal by showing a T-Shirt of the departed equipment officer, and the inscription on it read R.I.P .
