Kotoko striker William Opoku eyes continental success with club

Striker William Opuku Mensah has revealed that he wants to help the club to win either the CAF Champions League or the Confederations Cup competition.

The former Karela United goal monger joined the Porcupine Warriors in January 2020 and has since worked his way to become a starter at the club.

Speaking to the Kotoko Expres App in the midst of the Coronavirus disease crisis, he has shared that he wants to win any of CAF's inter-club competitions with Asante Kotoko.

“I enjoy teaching, which is why I was able to combine it with football while at Karela. But my focus now is on Kotoko. I want to win either the Champions League or the Confederation Cup with the club”, the striker shared.

He added, “I am enjoying my time here. It is where I want to be. I want to be here for a long time and is ready to give my best to win it”.

William Opoku Mensah, 24, made 8 appearances for the Reds before the 2019/2020 football season was halted and managed to score 2 goals in the process.
