Kotoko tactician Prosper Narteh Ogum calls for unflinching support ahead of Karela United clash

Asante Kotoko tactician Prosper Narteh Ogum has called for unwavering support from the fans ahead of their game against Karela United on Sunday.

Kotoko have struggled to find their rhythm, failing to secure a victory in their first two games. Their season opener ended in a goalless draw against newly promoted Heart of Lions at home, followed by a 2-1 defeat to Bibiani Goldstars last weekend.

Despite the underwhelming start, Ogum, who won the league with the Porcupine Warriors during the 2021/22 season has urged the fans to fill the stadium on Sunday as they seek to silence Karela United.

“I will ask our fans and all the stakeholders within our team to rally behind us on Sunday that they will come in their numbers even more than double or three times of what we saw against Heart of Lions”

“I must use this platform to commend the fans on that day, they came in their numbers and sung and supported from the blast of the whistle to the end. I will encourage them that they shouldn’t entertain any fear within them, they should come in their numbers, expect us to play good and win” he said.
