Ghana Premier League side Kumasi Asante Kotoko has disclosed that they will be unveiling a new head coach today as they continue preparations to the start of the 2019/2020 League season.

Nicknamed the Porcupine Warriors, the club is currently being handled by assistant coach Johnson Smith who joined from Karela United not long ago.

He worked under Kjeil Zachariassen for a while before the Norwegian tactician was shown the exit door for failing woefully in the CAF Champions League as well as the CAF Confederations Cup.

Weeks after the departure of the expatriate coach, Kotoko is now ready to appoint his replacement and will make an official announcement by the close of today.

Reports being picked up is indicating that Black Stars B head coach Maxwell Konadu is the man who has been given the job.
