Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Felix Annan was named the Local Footballer of the Year by the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) 45th Awards at the Alisa Hotel.

The goalkeeper was awarded for his incredible performances for Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the year 2019.
Felix Annan was a key player in the league for Asante Kotoko last year and during the CAF Inter-club competitions.
He succeeded in beaten striker Shafiu Mumuni, formerly of AshantiGold, and forward Joseph Esso of Dreams FC for the top local award.
Felix Annan lost his No.1 goalkeeping spot at the club to Ghana youth international Kwame Baah recently with the player expressing his displeasure about the development.
