President of Kotoku Royals Linford Asamoah Boadu has blamed his outfit preseason for their struggle in the Ghana Premier League campaign.

Kotoku Royals have been in dismal form since the commencement of the domestic top-flight.

They have managed three wins, one draw and 11 defeats after 15 matches into the league season.

In an interview, Linford, who doubles as the Chairman of the Eastern RFA attributed his sides unimpressive performance this season to bad preseason.

“Bad preseason and the coach who qualified the team to the Premier League went to Europe and we had to appoint a new coach who doesn’t know the players well”

“I believe he though most of our guys can play but unfortunately there isn’t experience players in the system. The Premier League is very difficult because there are a lot of things you may not understand” he said.

The Oda-based club are currently in the relegation drop despite beating Bibiani Goldstars on Wednesday. They are 18th on the log with 10 points.
