German-born Ghanaian forward Kevin-Prince Boateng as keeping his options open after giving a hint that he is open to playing for Fiorentina.

The former Tottenham Hotspur attacker joined the Viola from Sassuolo prior to the beginning of the 2019/2020 football season in Italy.

Following a slow start to the Italian Serie A season which was marred by injuries, KP Boateng secured a 6-month loan deal to play for Besiktas in the Turkish Super Lig.

Set to return to Italy when the deal expires at the end of June 30, it is expected the forward will join his teammates at his parent club.

While with Besiktas he revealed in an interview that he feels he has unfinished business with Fiorentina.

Though he nearly joined Besiktas on a permanent basis in the last couple of weeks, he has indicated that he is not ruling out a return to Florence to play for Fiorentina.

"Florence? I have not said that it is over. I have the city in my heart, everyone treated me well and I felt at home”, KP Boateng told Sportweek magazine.

He added, “I want the fans to remember when I retire as a cool, cool player in the way of dressing and playing, but it is not yet time for regrets”.
