KP Boateng picks De Zerbi over Pep Guardiola; tips Brighton boss to become the best in the world

Former Ghana player, Kevin-Prince Boateng says he believes Italian coach Roberto De Zerbi is better than Manchester City gaffer Pep Guardiola.

According to him, the Brighton & Hove Albion manager will become the best coach in the world in the next few decades.

“If I had had De Zerbe 10 or 12 years ago, my football would have been different. I think he will be the best coach in the next 20 or 30 years,” KP Boateng said in an interview as quoted by Football Italia.

KP Boateng who worked under De Zerbi during his playing days further applauded the work of the Italian tactician, adding that he knows how to motivate his players.

“He is able to improve every player he works with, starting from the substitute goalkeeper and even the striker.

"I worked with him when I was 32 years old and I felt stronger than ever. De Zerbe makes you feel involved in everything. He knows how to motivate me, and he cares about the human side, which is essential,” KP Boateng said.

This season, Roberto De Zerbi and his Brighton side have struggled but gradually getting back to their best.
