German-born Ghanaian international Kevin-Prince Boateng has revealed his readiness to mark his debut for Besiktas this weekend when they take on Gaziantep in the Turkish Super Lig.
The former Schalke 04 poster boy joined the Turkish giants on loan on the deadline day of the Winter Transfer Window on the back of a difficult start to life with Fiorentina where he joined from Sassuolo.
Since completing the switch to Besiktas, KP Boateng has exhibited his quality in training for the past week and has managed to impress head coach Sergen Yalcin.
In an interview, the attacker says he cannot wait to play his first match for his new club.
“I can hardly wait for the game on Saturday. I spoke to trainer Sergen Yalcin and he said to me: 'I know what you are capable of doing, if you can show it, you will be of great help to the team”, the on-loan attacker noted.
Boateng is hoping to enjoy a successful spell with Besiktas in the next five months to ensure he secures a move of his choice in the summer.
