Ghanaian international Kevin-Prince Boateng could return to Italy to play for Fiorentina next season if Besiktas fails to reach an agreement for his permanent signing.

The highly-rated forward completed a loan switch to the Turkish Super Lig side in the winter transfer window on the back of an impressive campaign in the Serie A with the Viola.

At Besiktas, he has managed to establish himself as one of their key players after featuring in just 6 matches. He is now a fan favorite and the club is looking to secure his services on a permanent basis to have him in the team for the next season.

To do that, they have commenced negotiations with KP Boateng and his agent. As reported by footballghana.com last month, talks have not gone well with Besiktas unable to agree to the financial demands of the player.

He is to earn an annual wage of 1.7 Million Euros if he is signed permanently according to the loan agreement. Due to the financial challenges caused by the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis, the club says they will not be able to afford and have been in talks with the attacker in the past weeks to try and find a common ground.

In case KP Boateng does not give the club a discount, it will mean that no deal will be reached. Should that happen, the German-born Ghanaian international will return to Fiorentina for the next season.
