Kudjo Fianoo lauds Asante Kotoko performance in their win over Nkana FC in Caf Confederation Cup

GHALCA Chairman Kudjo Fianoo has lauded Kumasi Asante performance in their second leg encounter against Nkana FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The Reds, who lost heavily in Zambia a few days ago, hosted Nkana FC in the fourth round of matches in the CAF Confederation Cup in Kumasi. Kotoko beat their Zambian giants 3-0 courtesy Fatawu Mohammed, Emmanuel Gyamfi and Martin Antwi first-half strikes.

Football arbiter, Kudjo Fianoo believes Kotoko has done enough to deserve praise from all angles.

"Kotoko against this same team last week lost 3-1, for Kotoko to turn around to beat them 3-0, the players and the technical staff deserve an applaud".

"They've done very well, psychologically some teams will be done to perform but Kotoko did not do that and I say they have done marvelously well, they need our applauds", he told Akakpo Agodji in an interview.

"But there is more room for improvement, they should work on their second half and everything will be good", he added.

The Porcupine Warriors will play Sudanese giants Al Hilal in their third home game of the group stages.
