Kudjoe Fianoo elated with GFA’s prize package for league winners of 20/21 season

The chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Mr. Kudjoe Fianoo has expressed his delight to the prize packages for the winners of the various leagues in the 2020/2021 football season.

At the launch of the new football season on Thursday, the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt E.S Okraku announced that the winner of the Premier League will take home a sum of GHS250,000.

For the winners of the zones of the National Division One League and the Women’s Premier League, they will receive GHS75,000 and GHS50,000 respectively.

Reacting to the news, Kudjoe Fianoo has lauded the Ghana FA for the packages.

“I will say hallelujah, I applaud the GFA as the winner of the 20/21 Ghana Premier League (GPL) will smile home with a whopping GH¢250,000 as prize money because this is far better than previous prize money of our Leagues”, the GHALCA chairman told Hot FM in an interview.

He added, “The GFA have been good so far. More is yet to come under this GFA administration and note that second-placed team would receive GHS150,000, medals, and products from sponsors”.

Meanwhile, Kudjoe Fianoo has confirmed that he will be seeking a second term in the upcoming GHALCA elections.
