The chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Mr. Kudjoe Fianoo has revealed that he will be seeking a second term in the upcoming elections.

In 2016, Mr. Fianoo was elected as the new chairman of GHALCA after he recorded a landslide victory.

Having replaced Alhaji Raji at the time, the former CEO of Ashanti Gold SC has been chairman of GHALCA in the last four years.

Although many have on several occasions questioned the accountability of the body under Kudjoe Fianoo, he has always insisted that he wants to serve the best interest of the body.

Ahead of the upcoming elections of GHALCA, he has confirmed that it is his intention to contest and seek a second term to serve.

“I want to use my experience to help GHALCA and football as a whole. I will go for the nomination forms to contest for the upcoming GHALCA elections”, Kudjoe Fianoo said in an interview with Hot FM on Friday.

Just yesterday, GHALCA held its congress where the Executives presented audited reports for the last four years.

Measures are expected to be put in place in the coming months for the elections of new executives for the body.
