Mexican defender, Edson Alvarez is elated he has been reunited with Ghana star Mohammed Kudus to take the English Premier League by storm.
The highly-rated defender has been joined by the Black Stars poster boy who only completed his move to West Ham on Sunday, August 27.
In a throwback to the time both players played for Ajax in Holland, Edson Alvarez in an interview spoke highly of Mohammed Kudus and described him as a player with everything.
“Mo Kudus has everything in my opinion. I think he is our best player right now,” he said.
West Ham United over the weekend confirmed that Mohammed Kudus signed a long-term deal with the club.
“West Ham United are delighted to announce the signing of Mohammed Kudus. The Hammers fought off intense competition from some of Europe’s leading clubs to secure the services of the exciting Ghana international attacker from Ajax,” an official club statement from the English club said.
The West Ham United statement added, “The 23-year-old joins the Irons on a five-year contract for an undisclosed fee, becoming the Club’s fourth major summer signing following his former Ajax teammate and Mexico international Edson Álvarez, Greece defender Dinos Mavropanos and England midfielder James Ward-Prowse.
Mohammed Kudus, 23, is excited with his move and says he cannot wait to get started.
