The right has been unattached and is joining the porcupine warriors on free transfer.
Asante Kotoko are looking at strengthening their squad for the second round of the season after a disappointing first half.
Sefa could replace injured Captain Amos Frimpong who has been out for some time forcing the club to use central defender Ahmed Adams as the right back.
