Kurt Okraku has done well so far as GFA boss - Ex-Hearts of Oak CEO Harry Zakour

Former Chief Executive Officer of Hearts of Oak, Harry Zakour has praised Ghana Football Association [GFA] president Kurt Okraku for a good job done so far.

Mr. Okraku masterminded Ghana's qualification to the upcoming World Cup in Qatar later this year having missed out in the last edition hosted in Russia.

Under the auspices of Mr. Okraku, the FA have launched several programs to aid the growth of football in the country.

Harry Zakour, who led Hearts of Oak to win the 2000 CAF Champions League title believes Mr. Okraku has done well so far.

He also implored the entire football fraternity to support Mr. Okraku's administration to help in the development of the game.

"Things will be okay we shouldn’t worry, we should only work hard," he said as reported by Citi Sports.

"I don’t think the GFA is doing bad but we should all help to build Ghana football,” he added.

The Ghana Football Association [GFA] will go to the polls next year.

Hearts of Oak had a brilliant run of trophy wins under Harry Zakour winning multiple Ghana Premier League titles as well.
