Kurt Okraku is failing as Ghana FA President – Kofi Manu

Published on: 03 March 2023

Experienced football administrator Kofi Manu is not satisfied with the performance of the Ghana Football Association President, Kurt Okraku.

The former Dreams FC chief assumed office in October 2019 and is few months away from completing his four-year term.

A chunk of football fanatic has criticized Okraku following Ghana’s inability to excel at continental and global tournament respectively.

The Black Stars suffered early exit at the 2021 AFCON and the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The team failed to progress from the group stage both AFCON and the World Cup at large.

In an interview, Kofi Manu asserted Kurt Okraku has been unable to deliver because of untruthful people around him.

He added that, Ghana football has taken a nosedive because he’s not got the right people around him.

“Kurt Okraku is failing because he is not having people to tell him the truth. Truth be told, Ghana football has taken a nosedive” he said.

Ghana will face Angola in a double header this month and Kurt Okraku will be keen to see the Black Stars secure early qualification.
