Asamoah is currently deemed surplus to requirement following the signing of former Manchester City defender Alexander Kolarov.

The former Juventus man endured a difficult campaign in the 2019/20 football season where he was limited to playing time in the Serie A and the European campaign of the Nerazzurri as a result of multiple injury setbacks which left him sidelined for the most parts of the season.

The Ghanaian midfielder is on the radar of Turkish giants Fenerbache and Galatasaray, who are keen on securing his services this summer.

According to reports in Italy, Inter Milan have started a process of terminating Asamoah's contract with one-year left.

He joined the San Siro side from Juventus in 2018.
