Kwadwo Asamoah excited with Inter Milan’s winning start in the Serie A

Ghanaian international Kwadwo Asamoah has shared his excited following Inter Milan’s opening day victory over Lecce in the 2019/2020 edition of the Italian Serie A.

The former champions locked horns with the newcomers on Monday night in hopes of starting their season on a good note.

Coach Antonio Conte who took over this summer led the side to a resounding 4-0 win that sees them currently sitting top of the standings on goal difference after match week one.

Two goals in each half got the job done with the first pair coming from Marcelo Brozovic and Stefano Sensi.

Romelu Lukaku and Antonio Candreva netted the other two goals in the second half to help Inter cruise to an emphatic victory.

Kwadwo Asamoah who played the entire duration of the match provided one assist and has expressed his delight with the win in a post on his official Twitter handle.

“Great debut and win at home in front of our fans!”. the tweet read.

Asamoah, 30, is expected to be key for Conte’s Nerazzurri side throughout the season.
