Ghana and Inter Milan defender Kwadwo Asamoah has expressed worry over the growing rate of racism in Italian Football whiles indicating that it’s a big bother to him.

Several incidences relating to racism has taken the shine out of the Serie A this season though it has been full of action with an improvement in terms of competitiveness.

Kwadwo Asamoah’s Inter Milan teammate, Romelu Lukaku is one of several players who have been at the end of the abuse this season.

Sharing his thoughts on the act, the Black Stars midfielder noted, “It often happens, it bothers me. I'm focused on playing and not listening, but some can't.  He's working a lot on this. We can do what other countries do to combat racism, it would improve Italian football.

"We hope that these unpleasant episodes may diminish over time until they disappear," Asamoah told Sky Sports.

He further stressed, “It is unacceptable that in 2019 distinctions are made only for the different color of the skin. And do not talk about teasing or how to make the opponent nervous, because it would be like endorsing an uncivil behavior that has no reason to be”.
