Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah has penned an emotional message to Inter Milan following his departure from the club.

The 30-year-old terminated his contract with the Nerazzurri on transfer deadline day, making him free to join any club despite the closure of the summer transfer window.

"I would say thank you to all the staff, the management, my teammates and last but not least all the Interfans, you are great! ?? Good luck for all ⚫️? #Thankyou @inter," Asamoah posted on his instagram.

He joined Inter in 2018 after spending six years at Juventus- in a move that saw him reunite with former coach Antonio Conte.

However, the versatile midfielder struggled to make an impact due to injuries. He made a total of 53 appearances for Inter Milan in two seasons, providing three assists and scoring no goal.

English Championship side Reading and Serie A side Sampdoria are reportedly interested in acquiring the services of the former Udinese Calcio star.
