Ghanaian international Kwadwo Asamoah now looks set to join Fenerbahçe with sources saying that he has turned down a move to join German Bundesliga club Hoffenheim.

The Inter Milan left-wing-back who can also play as a midfielder has struggled with injuries this season which has lowered his stocks. Though he started the season on a good note, the setbacks have affected him and the club as well.

Ahead of the summer transfer window, he will be allowed to leave the Nerazzurri even though he has one more year left on his contract.

As reported by footballghana.com earlier, Kwadwo Asamoah is wanted by Fenerbahçe who wants to strengthen the left side of its defense.

The Black Stars asset though wanted by some other clubs including Hoffenheim has opted to move to Turkish instead. His decision is understood to be because he sees himself getting the opportunity to play in the midfield of the team as well.

Asamoah, 31, still has a couple of years to play and hopes to find his feet devoid of injuries in his next step.
